Let’s get outside and enjoy the evening summer breeze while we gather to paint in the open air on the Hood Street lawn! This Plein Air class will include step by step instruction on how to choose a composition, color mix to achieve a sense of light and air, capture the time of day, compositional fundamentals and basic painting practices.

Bring a lawn chair and snacks! *easels are welcome, but not required

Join us Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm for our next figure drawing session!  We will have a live model posing in costume in the gallery.  There will be two 5 minute warm up poses and then a final main pose.  Artists are responsible for bringing their own materials (all mediums are accepted, except for oils). This will not be an instructor led class, however, HSAC Resident Artist, Renee Crouser, will be available for questions during the breaks.  For $10.00 at the door, this is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills while being in community with other local artists!
